As a younger person, I seriously believed that one had to be naturally artistically talented to pursue art. Fortunately, by the time I turned 60, I decided that was ridiculous and started taking mosaic classes. I love the endless possibilities for substrates, tesserae, and subject matter.
I am a retired special education teacher, mother of three sons, nonna to four grandchildren, and a lover of cities, art, reading, scavenging, and upcycling. I have lived in the DC area for over 40 years, but NYC is my home planet.
